Braber Equipment, a well-established manufacturer, distributer, and wholesaler of agricultural equipment and parts, is seeking a professional and hardworking individual to join our team in Canby, OR, as a Shipper/Receiver.

The successful candidate will be honest, have a positive attitude, enjoy working with their hands, and be results-oriented. Applicants must be able to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. As there would be some local deliveries from time to time, we will require a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Shipping goods and materials
• Receiving goods and materials
• Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
• Tying down and securing loads
• Local deliveries with a delivery truck
• Oil check maintenance on all equipment
• Assembling of finished products for shipping
• Quality control of final products
• Shrink wrapping finished products for shipments and boxing into cardboard or wooden crates
• Labelling boxes, palleting, and strapping of pallets
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications required:

• Previous shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse
• Required knowledge of Rite scan or equivalent scanner system
• Mechanical skills
• Forklift experience
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, and ability to fill out BOL’s
• Able to lift to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to be bonded
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, reliable, conscientious, level-headed, and dependable
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Extremely safety conscious
• Hard worker
• Have reliable transportation, as the location is not on a regular bus route

Hours of operation are Monday- Friday, 8am-4:30pm. However, additional hours may be required to fulfill job duties. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
